This has great free online resources for teaching human rights to children. It is very thorough, covering younger and older children. This can help you go further with the content supplied in the Kids 4 Kids kit in lesson 2. Print it out and add it to your resource library.

This is an excellent site for both children and teachers. Look especially at the "voices of youth". Challenge yourself in the quizes on child labour, the girl child, HIV/AIDs, and polio. Teachers will also find very helpful "Child friendly" versions of United Nations documents to help your children understand what the governments have agreed to do for children. Teachers' lesson resources are also available. Have a good look.

Viva Network is a global movement of Christians passionately concerned for 'children at risk', committed to every child having the opportunity to become all that God intends.

Rather than starting more children's projects, Viva Network creates and sustains networks among people already working with 'children at risk', so that more children get better help.

The World Wide Day of Prayer for Children at Risk takes place on the first Saturday of June each year, and an information pack is produced to accompany it. All Christians are invited to participate.
